Youth camp of WCC (April 27-30, 2007)

Well, this summer there are lots of youth camps every where. First I didn't want to join this camp because I didn't know anybody there. But I decided to join at the last minute, because I believe that God had a reason, and He did. The things we did I'm not sure if it's in order because I didn't have the copy of like the manual or something.

Okay. I woke up at around 4 or 4:30am or so... I slept at about 12:30 because of packing my things. Around 5:30am we left the house. And at 6am we arrived at WCC. There, the torture moment. Everyone seems to know each other. So I was a loner freak or something. But dad's friend came and introduced me to his daughter, ate Camille. Then his daugther intoduced me to other girls. So, Kuya Martin, the head of the youth I think hahaha... I was introduced to him. And later on, he announced the grouping. Me and three other guys' name wasn't called so we stayed. Kuya Martin introduced me to them. Eric,Gab and I forgot the other guy (sorry) we shooked hands haha but it's only because Eric did it and kuya Martin said "how polite" then Eric told the other guys to do the thing he did. So there, we were to go to the bus. Every sit seems to be occupied but I saw an empty seat but Ate Camille called me to sit with Leah. Then the long, head-aching trip. They talk to me, but I answer a little only because I really really dizzy. That when I looked at somewhere else I feel like I'm going to throw up or something. Then after 3 hours of torture again we finally arrived! The place was awesome. It was on top of a mountain. It was very cold. The wind was strong. You really need a jacket even if the sun is really high. We placed our bags in the van so we won't be tired of carrying them because the rooms are far, but not that far. So I walked alone of course. Then we went to the hall for our rooms to be announced. Again me, Eric, Gab and the other guy didn't have the room. Because we were late on like deciding whether to join or not. Then, we were already had our rooms and the new cell group. I was put to group 3 with ate Teepee, kuya Daniel and kua Nick's group. First meeting. We introduced ourselves and gave our name, age and school. My groupmates are: ate Mikha, ate Dani, Syd, Paulo and Benete. We gave our expectations. And there. We ate together I was so happy because if we didn't ate together who would I join to eat? : Then after eating, I think that was Date with God. We would find a spot/place to talk to God one-on-one. I chose the seat near the rooms because it's shaded haha. Then I saw ate Ressie? I don't know if that's correct. She handed me a book where per day there is a certain verse and explanation. The verse was about Jesus is the door to God. Then after reading it I returned it and sat again in the spot I found. After 15 minutes I walked and go to the hall, when I was walking I met Eric. And he said "Hi, Elaine" I said hey or hi, I forgot. Hahahahaha. Then at the hall. I sat with a girl. Then plenery. Then around 2:30pm I think. There was a game. Amazing race theme. There were stations and assigned things to do. there were 7 stations. Then after playing they swam but I just went to our room and did a blog then called my cousin. After that, they returned to the rooms and took a bath because there was a debut party for ate Jo ann. There I was getting close to Syd and Nikka. We sat together. Then the party and cell group. Then free time then we went around me, Syd and Nikka though I was just behind them. That was day one.

I woke up at around 5:30ambecause I heard the voice of ate Teepee announcing something. Then call time was 6, then I took a bath at around 5:45 I think. Then we we went to the canteen. I ate with Syd and Nikka. Then we went around then we went to the hall for praise and worship. Then plenery, then, date with God, then, group, then Games! haha. Then red team won again! haha :) Then everyone like took a bath then, the dinner then I got sick : we told kuya Martin, he called kuya Mike and kuya Mico. Kuya Mico/Miko asked what I felt, so I told him. Then they gave me a medicine. Then kuya Mike went with me to my room and said that I should take a rest. But after 5 minutes Syd and Nikka went to our room and I said I don't want to rest so we went outside and walk. Then while walking we saw kua Mike, and said why am I not resting. I said I don't like :)) Then he said that he will not leave bacause I don't want to rest. He said that I should rest and he asked if I am really okay. So I said yes. Then he went on. Then we went to the hall and made tambay :)) and After 10 minutes I think. My body cannot catch up anymore. It's like giving up already. So I told them. I would just go to our room and sleep. So I went alone. Then I saw kuya Mike again :)) and he asked me if I'm okay. I said no, then he said "sabi ko na sayo eh, rest ka kasi muna." Then he said he will get the keys from ate Teepee then while waiting I saw kuya Martin coming he asked what am I doing there. I said I'm waiting for kuya Mike. Then kuya Mike came. And said "Martin oh, ayaw magpahinga ayan tuloy" kuya Martin said "Don't push yourself" haha then there. We went to the room. While walking kuya Mike interviewed me. He asked if I'm having fun. I said yeah. Then he asked if i had a crush. Then he said "mamaya mo na lang sabihin sa akin yan" haha then when we arrived. I went to bed. And I slept for 15 minutes or 20 minutes only. After that. I went to the hall. Then I saw Syd and Nikka I sat with them. Then kuya Mike asked if I am really okay. I was still dizzy though but I said yes. :)) Then the long praise and worship. We sang. Later on. The Communion. A little piece of bread and wine like grape juice. Then the candle. Then after that. Date with God. Then while talking to God I looked up the sky, I saw a shooting star, and wished. After that free time already. So we walked I got chips so we could eat something. We talked me, Syd and Nikka, we told stories and something like that. We went around again. I slept at 12:30am I think. That was the second day.

The last day :( I woke up at around 6am. When I woke up I saw Nikka in our room. Then said we walk around. So when we are walking around. Only a few were awake. haha. Then we saw kuya Yoyo, cool name :). We greated goodmorning! :)) then we wale\ked and walked then at 6:45am we thought of taking a bath already. After that. We ate breakfast. And it was Hannie's birthday. Pastor Ronnie's daughter. She turned 4 :). Then afer that. Praise and worship then plenery then date with God then cell group. So that was the last cell group but they said we will have another after camp yehey! :)) so there. We packed up and ate lunch. Then sharing. Then picture taking then we went to the bus already :(( in the bus, I sat 2nd to the first seat :)) first there was no one beside me but after a while, a girl seated I was happy :)). While driving home, They were talking and I just looked out and chew a bubble gum. Then kuya Martin was "inaaway" like by the girls at the back. Then he said " Saan si Elaine?" ( I was seating.. like a girl was between us O_O) haha then he told me "Elaine oh inaaway ako" then i said "ahhh" haha. I was suppose to say " kapag inaaway niyo si kuya Martin, galingan niyo!" haha but I was dizzy : so there we arrived at wcc at around 4pm. So we placed our bags and waited for the people who will fetch us.I sat alone T_T but there was a fun part. :"> hahahhahahahha! but I won't mention it =p then dad came. I said my goobdye's to some of them. Then I went home. That was the last day :(( but they said we will have a reunion <:-p horay! haha.. that's all :D
